Many of the events which the Council supports have been cancelled in 2020, but the Council has provided additional support for Maryport Inshore Rescue & Shiver Me Timbers to enable them to keep operating. In addition, the following organisations have received grant funding in 2020:

- Netherhall Rugby Union Football Club
- Owl Blue Charity
- Senhouse Museum
- Maryport Settlement
- Kaleidoscope Art Group
- Theas Thousand, (for Tiny Lives Charity)
