The Council has introduced an annual award scheme in recognition of young Maryport people who have made a worthy contribution to the community. Nominations are being sought through local schools & organisations, & Maryport Schools’ Council is assisting in the operation of the scheme through assessment of nominees for consideration.
The award scheme is a continuation of the Town Council’s involvement with the young people of Maryport, who represent our future. The winners will be announced towards the end of the year.
