Allerdale Borough Council organised a Clean-up of Maryport Town Centre & surrounding areas, which took place on Wednesday 5 July.
Staff from the Borough Council, Town Council members & volunteers from the community helped spruce up the town with litter picking, painting & pressure washing, as well as weed removal. People may notice that the bollards on Senhouse Street are now looking brighter, adding to the visual improvements to properties on Senhouse Street which have been painted through funding provided by Allerdale’s Town Centre Shop & Residential Front Improvement Scheme
