In association with Maryport Joint Schools’ Partnership, the Town Council is providing a Maryport Family Fun Day on Wednesday 9 August.
It will take place on the green adjacent to Shiver Me Timbers & will feature entertainment devised by the school children of Maryport who represent their schools on the Joint Schools’ Council. The pupils have decided that they would like the event to be sports based & children attending are invited to come in sports gear. Commencing at 1.00pm & finishing at 4.00pm, it will be a day of fun, much of it free, featuring:
- Penalty Shoot Out
- Nerf Gun Shoot Out Tent
- Head to Head Sports Themed Games
- Fairground Rides
- Bouncy Castle & Slides
- Face Painting
- Glitter Tattoos
- Music
- Ice Cream
- Slush Puppies
- Candy Floss
Maryport Schools’ children have been issued with tickets on an end of term flyer which provides tickets for FREE Candy floss, Ice Cream or Slush Puppy; a FREE Roundabout Ride; a FREE Tea Cups Ride; a FREE go on the Bouncy Castle or Slide; a FREE go in the Nerf Gun Tent & a FREE go on the Penalty Shoot Out.
