A new display boat has been constructed for the Council by students at the Lakes College.
People may remember that a previous boat displayed at the roundabout on the low road was stolen in 2016, & Councillor Carni McCarron Holmes arranged for a replacement to be made. An official ‘opening’ of the boat at its new display site on Senhouse Street was held on 20 July.
