Entries are invited from members of the community in the 2017 Best Kept Garden & Container Competition. Whilst we haven’t seen a lot of sun up here this summer, (so far!), it has been good weather for gardeners, (as they say), & the Council hopes that its green fingered residents will be demonstrating their gardening skills once again.
Residents can nominate their own or neighbours’ gardens & container displays by contacting the Council via email to [email protected], by post to Maryport Town Council, Town Hall, Maryport, CA15 6BH, or by telephone to 01900 813205. Judging will take place during the second week in August. The judging panel will also be selecting the best maintained of its allotments at its Church Street, Flimby & Sandy Lonning sites.
