Maryport Town Council supported the Tour of Britain Cycle Race 2015, which passed through the town on Tuesday 8 September.
Maryport school children and members of the public joined the colourful displays of flags, banners and bikes set out along the route to cheer on the cyclists and many stayed to enjoy the entertainment held at the Memorial Gardens which was funded by Allerdale Borough Council and arranged by Maryport Festival Group.
