In association with the Maryport Joint Schools’ Partnership, the Town Council held a Family Fun Day on Wednesday 29 July.
On a lovely sunny day, over 2,000 people attended the event, with many children in fancy dress as their favourite superhero! The Superhero Bouncy Castle, Pirates of the Caribbean Assault Course, Frozen Bouncy Castle & Superhero Slide were very popular, as well as the Superhero Tattoos, Candy Floss Machine & Ice Cream.
Superheroes turning up to add to the fun included Captain America & Superman, as well as Princesses Anna & Elsa from Frozen. A great time was had by all!
