Remembrance Day services will take place on Sunday 9 November at St Nicholas’ Church, Flimby, at 10.00am, followed by the Wreath Laying Ceremony at Flimby Cemetery, & at St Mary’s Church, Maryport.
The Maryport service will be preceded by the Remembrance Day Parade, which commences at 2.45pm from Fleming Square. The Parade will be headed by the Clergy, Standard Bearers & Wreath Layers, & will be supported in 2014 by members of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment. The service will be followed by the Wreath Laying Ceremony at Maryport Memorial Gardens.
