The award-winning Lake District Coast Aquarium is dedicated to species of fish & marine life found in the Solway Firth. The aquarium has its own Sea Lab where visitors can view lobsters being bred & at various stages of development. With Daily Fish Feeding & Talks, it provides great chances to see fish being fed whilst learning new & interesting facts from one of the Aquarists.
A popular café is part of the aquarium building & like the gift shop, adventure playground, mini-golf and boat pool which form part of the site, is accessible to the general public, not just ticket holders. Tickets are available for a whole day experience. ‘Expect the Unexpected!’
