Maryport Christmas lights will be switched-on on Saturday 18 November this year. The Town Council will be making arrangements for a programme of family entertainment, with children at its heart of course, to be held during the afternoon of that day, we will have the famous Santa’s Grotto in the Labour Club, and while you wait you can have your face painted by Beth for free. We will have Cheer Force Knights Maryport’s International team in the Labour Club with a tombola and other games raising money for the up coming trip to All Star Worlds Competition in 2024.
The outdoor stage will show case local school choirs, Netherhall School Rock Band, entertainment from Jason the Juggling Jester & Liam from KL Parties, Free Tea & Coffee throughout the day with free Mince Pies curtesy of the Golden Lion Hotel from 3pm, this will all lead up to the big switch-on at 5pm.
