To provide on-site storage facilities for equipment to assist in the event of future flood events, the Flimby Flood Group, in association with the Town Council, has obtained a large storage container which Flimby Social Club has kindly permitted to be sited on its land on Chapel Street. The container will be used to store flood sacks & other equipment which may be needed at short notice by residents in the event of potentially impacting flood warnings being issued by the appropriate flood authorities.
